Slade Pharmacy is a national company serving hospital and community pharmacy clients in Victoria and New South Wales.
The premier Slade Pharmacy location is at the front of Epworth Hospital in the bustling Bridge Road shopping precinct, with both a community and hospital based pharmacy based here for the last 30 years. There are an additional three hospital pharmacy sites located in metropolitan Melbourne and two hospital pharmacy sites in regional New South Wales.
Slade Pharmacy is a progressive cutting edge pharmacy providing excellent integrated community and hospital pharmacy services. Slade Pharmacy is accredited by the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s Quality Care Program. Expert advice and drug information is provided by our pharmacists and pharmacy team on a range of health issues.
An extensive range of products are available including home healthcare, nutritionals, vitamins, cosmetics and fine fragrances. The key focus is provision of excellent patient care, service and professional pharmacy services.
Slade Compounding
To enhance the professional services available to Slade Pharmacy clients, the Slade Compounding Suite was purpose built, with three sterile hoods in a“state of the art” facility opened in Richmond, Melbourne, September 2003.
Centrally located on the ground floor of The Epworth Centre, Melbourne, it prepares customised sterile and cytotoxic medications and products to meet individual patient needs.
These range from antibiotic and analgesic solutions to chemotherapy and nutritional preparations for use in
hospital or at home.
Slade Pharmacy Services provides management services to Slade Pharmacy in both the private hospital and community sectors. It has developed information technology programs and systems specifically designed to support and enhance all aspects of the supply of pharmaceutical products to Slade Pharmacy private hospital clients. The organisation manages financial, marketing, product procurement, administrative, information system, personnel and all support services.
