Many of our pharmacists have specialised training in intensive care, cardiology, neurology, oncology, psychiatry and wound management. When you are admitted to hospital, you will be asked about the medications you are currently taking. To ensure we provide you with a comprehensive and professional service, please bring with you from home

Finally, you will also be asked if you have had any unexpected reactions or allergies to medications in the past. If so these will be noted on your medication chart.

Your hospital pharmacists will work with your medical practitioner and nurses on the ward to arrange all the medications you require to take home with you. If needed, we can also provide a full summary of your current medication for you to refer to at home.
