Throughout your stay, your hospital pharmacist will regularly review your medication.  Your hospital pharmacist is on hand to talk to you about your medications.  We are able to assist you to understand

  • how they work
  • when to take them
  • what to do if you miss a dose
  • whether you should avoid certain drugs or foods

Upon Discharge From Hospital

Your hospital pharmacists will work with your medical practitioner and nurses on the ward to arrange all the medications you require to take home with you.  If needed, we can also provide a full summary of your current medication for you to refer to at home.
